History

Dolcefarniente was founded in the seventies and for several years its business was focused on the manufacturing and distribution of cane and rattan furniture in Europe. In the eighties the first catalogue “Dolcefarniente Wicker & Rattan” was presented.
In 2006 the company expanded its production and launched the first collection of luxury garden furniture called outside&in to cater to the needs of the most demanding customers.
Since 2007 Dolcefarniente has become part of the Polo Holding spa, a real estate developer with head office in Fano (province of Pesaro-Urbino). Through its 5 associate companies, Polo Holding provides an entire range of services including design, construction, installation of technological plants, landscaping, furnishing and sale of real estate.
The incorporation of Dolcefarniente into Polo Holding led the way to an extensive renovation and restyling that resulted in the creation of sophisticated furniture of stylish contemporary design. This is the “Dolcefarniente collection” that is now available in the most exclusive shops.
